What We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (securely hashed).

Photos: Photos you and your guests upload to galleries are stored on AWS S3 servers.

Usage Data: We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site (page views, upload success, etc.).

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the photo sharing service
  • To send you gallery links and important updates
  • To improve the service based on usage patterns
  • To prevent abuse and maintain security

We will never:

  • Sell your data to third parties
  • Use your photos for marketing or training AI models
  • Share your email with advertisers
  • Make your galleries public without your permission

Data Storage & Security

Photos are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 with AES-256 encryption at rest. Gallery links use unique identifiers that are not searchable or discoverable - only people with the link can access the gallery.

Passwords are securely hashed using bcrypt before storage. Sessions are managed with encrypted cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete any photo from your galleries
  • Delete entire galleries and all associated photos
  • Request deletion of your account and all data
  • Export your data (contact us for assistance)

Third-Party Services

AWS S3: Photo storage (covered by AWS's privacy policy)

Google Analytics: Anonymous usage tracking (you can opt-out with browser extensions)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
